PRODUCT CARE FOR ASL SERVEWARE & TABLEWARE

Crystal & Glass (General)

  • Hand wash crystal and glass items separately using warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a lint-free cloth.
  • When washing and drying stemware, avoid twisting the bowl in the opposite direction of the stem to prevent damage.
  • Avoid using dishwashers, as the heat, friction, and detergents can dull or scratch surfaces.
  • Prevent cracks or breakage by avoiding extreme temperature changes. Do not pour hot liquids into cold crystal/glass or vice versa.
  • Do not use crystal or glass products in microwaves or conventional ovens.
  • Protect the delicate rims, the most fragile part of your product, by not turning items upside down while drying or storing.

Lead-Free Crystal Decanters & Carafes

  • Before first use, wash the interior of decanters and carafes with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
  • Avoid long-term storage of food or beverages in glass containers.
  • Change liquid contents frequently to maintain the product’s finish and prevent film build-up or chemical erosion of the interior surface.

Color-Coated (Including Gold & Silver Decorated) Crystal & Glass

  • Keep color-coated surfaces away from bleach, solvents, and abrasive materials that may damage the finish.
  • Avoid contact with sharp or rough implements like rings or knives to prevent scratches or damage to the painted surface.
  • Do not place color-coated crystal/glass items in dishwashers.
  • Hand wash these items separately in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry carefully with a soft, clean, lint-free cloth.

Candle Holders

  • Ensure candles do not burn within one inch (25.4mm) of the holder to avoid potential damage to the holder.
